Welcome to Society of Saint Wilfrid and Saint Hilda in the Diocese of Wakefield. 

We are a group of Anglo-Catholic parishes that seek to proclaim the Catholic Faith as the Church of England has traditionally received it. Under the patronage of two great northern missionary saints, we aim to do this through events and services, prayer and mutual support.

From Ascension Day until Pentecost (17th - 27 May 2012) Churches throughout England will be praying for the Bishops as they decide on the Provision that will be made for those unable to accept Women Bishops. Prayers and other resources are availabe on a special website set up for this purpose.
